Preston FM has submitted an application to Ofcom (the UK communications regulator) for a full-time community radio licence. If successful, we'll be awarded a licence to broadcast full-time for five years - bringing a full community radio service to Preston for the first time.
Preston FM has submitted an application to Ofcom (the UK communications regulator) for a full-time community radio licence. If successful, we'll be awarded a licence to broadcast full-time for five years - bringing a full community radio service to Preston for the first time. We think our application is really strong - thanks to the efforts of all of those volunteers and community organisations who have been involved in Preston FM over the last two and a half years. Thanks to you all for your commitment to and support for the project so far. We hope to hear the results of our application in early 2008 - and will let you know as soon as we hear.
